Joyfully Beholding
Dear Church Family,
In 2013, the Lord began to stir in my heart. I had served as a Pastor for over a decade but knew that God was calling my family to “something,” to a new chapter in my story as a pastor. I wasn’t really sure what the “something” was at the time. I believe that “something” happened on Sunday with the launch of Doxa Church. Our launch as Doxa Church is evidence of God’s grace in my life and the lives of those in the church. God calls and unites a people from varying backgrounds and experiences to accomplish His mission. I am so grateful that He does! Sunday was a picture of Paul’s exhortation to the Philippian Church, “live a life worthy of the gospel.” You served sacrificially. It was a joy to witness. I felt like a proud father who is asked, “Are these your children? Why, yes, they are!” Thank you for loving the Gospel and the local church and for giving your time and talents to help others behold the Gospel.
It truly is a privilege to be the Pastor of Doxa Church. May we not grow weary in this great and holy endeavor to be a local church. I love you, and I am praying for your families. Looking forward to gathering again on Sunday to behold the Gospel!
Filled with joy,
