A WORD ABOUT THIS FELLOWSHIP
Since the inception of our church in 2019, our name, “Doxa,” along with our vision and mission, has been centered on what the Bible emphasizes with crystal clarity—the glory of God [Numbers 14:21; Psalm 19:1;Isaiah 6:3; 11:9; 43:7; Habakkuk 2:14; Romans 11:36]. As a local church, our fellowship’s chief end, like the answer to the first question of the Westminster Shorter Catechism, is the glory of God. Therefore, we love the Bible, hold a grand vision of God, believe that every human being is a sinner, and recognize the need for a Savior—our Lord Jesus Christ.
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
Habakkuk 2:14
The Church is the great meeting place for believers with their God.
— Charles Spurgeon
A BIBLICAL CHURCH
Certainly, it might be assumed that every church would be considered a biblical church, however, that simply is not the case. Our Church is formed and informed by all of Sacred Scripture. Our desire is for the Bible to guide and govern every aspect of the fellowship. A Biblical Church defined by the testimony of Scripture and Church history to have several marks.
The true church can be recognized if it has the following marks: The church engages in the pure preaching of the gospel; it makes use of the pure administration of the sacraments as Christ instituted them; it practices church discipline for correcting faults. In short, it governs itself according to the pure Word of God, rejecting all things contrary to it and holding Jesus Christ as the only Head. By these marks one can be assured of recognizing the true church and no one ought to be separated from it.
Article 29 of the Belgic Confession (1561)

A FELLOWSHIP ROOTED IN THE GOSPEL
We offer a rich tapestry of ministries designed to nurture spiritual growth and embody the beauty of Christian fellowship. The Lord’s Day gathering at 9:30 AM calls hearts to behold, obey, and be transformed by the Gospel through fervent prayer, congregational praise, the faithful exposition of Scripture, and the sacred ordinances of worship. For the covenant children, age-graded ministries aim to sow the seeds of God’s truth, cultivating tender hearts for the glory of Christ. Throughout the week, Doxa Communities convene as households of faith, breaking bread together, delving into God’s Word, and standing as lights on the hill, fulfilling the mission of Christ. The Brotherhood provides a haven for fostering biblical masculinity in a world shaped by femininity, for the good of others and the glory of God.
“The church is the gathering of saints, a nursery for heaven, where believers are trained in the ways of God, knit together in love, and prepared for glory.”
— Richard Baxter
